As a very satisfied customer of De Carlo Construction, this is an easy testimonial to write. While Frank was recommended to us by our homes architect/builder, we sought bids from three other contractors. De Carlo Constructions bid was somewhere in the middle, but we liked his ideas and approach towards the project. His experience on previous jobs evoked creative suggestions on the floor plan, finishes, materials etc. Frank encouraged our ideas and support and was flexible accommodating changes. The subs and daily crew were extremely prompt each day.

They were neat, professional and kept dust and noise to a minimum. We are very pleased with the finish product and have received numerous positive comments and compliments on our new space. There were a few (very few) minor touch up issues that were promptly resolved. I guess the proof of our satisfaction is the fact that we've had Frank and his crew back on several new projects. Soon after purchasing a 1920’s bungalow in Wheaton, we realized that we would need to make the basement a livable area to accommodate the needs of our family. We spoke with a couple of contractors who were unwilling to tackle the job and gave us little encouragement. When Frank came to access the situation, he immediately saw possibilities in the space that we hadn’t even imagined. His enthusiasm was infectious.

When he began working on the basement, we were uncertain exactly what we hoped to achieve. We soon realized we would need a bathroom and Frank immediately found a way to make it work. He was sensitive to our storage needs as we were downsizing to a two-bedroom with little closet space. He designed a laundry area with large, usable shelving to accommodate all our little used but necessary things. And, most importantly, he designed and built a beautiful bar that is the envy of all our friends and is the focal point of all our gatherings.

We were so thrilled with the basement we contracted Frank to tackle our kitchen. It was a challenge to find room for all the necessary appliances in the small space allotted, but Frank made it happen. The kitchen is not only lovely, it is remarkably efficient. We have nothing but good memories of working with Frank. He and his crew were a pleasure to have in the house. They were considerate of our schedules and privacy, and they left the work areas straightened at the end of each work day.We have great confidence in Frank’s skill and integrity and would not hesitate to hire him again for any job. We have had the pleasure of retaining Frank DeCarlo and his company to do major remodeling of our home on four different occasions. Our kitchen was stripped to the studs and put back together. The compliments from friends, neighbors and relative are superb.
